In partnership with the Special Mothers Project to maximise outreach to parents who need to help their child on a daily basis to sustain good health and wellbeing.
Our aim is to provide care-giver training for children with SEND to enable them to be as functional as possible.
The team support mothers through workshop training to enable them to:
Give a basic therapy session to their child on a daily basis, making sustainable assistive devices.
Training on handling, seating and feeding.
Counselling sessions for mothers enables them to share their challenges and gain more resilience against the discrimination that their child faces.
