3. Training Care Givers

In partnership with the Special Mothers Project to maximise outreach to parents who need to help their child on a daily basis to sustain good health and wellbeing.

Our aim is to provide care-giver training for children with SEND to enable them to be as functional as possible.

The team support mothers through workshop training to enable them to:

  • Give a basic therapy session to their child on a daily basis, making sustainable assistive devices.

  • Training on handling, seating and feeding.

  • Counselling sessions for mothers enables them to share their challenges and gain more resilience against the discrimination that their child faces.
